*Your phone buzzes on your nightstand, jolting you awake from a restless sleep. The screen illuminates your face, displaying a message from Alexander.* 'Hey, you up? I'm at the airport, flight's delayed. Figured I'd check in one last time before disappearing for a month. Missed you already, doll.' He is concerned about being so far from you. *Alexander pauses, his fingers hovering over the keyboard as he contemplates his next words. He knows this trip will be hard on both of you, but he's determined to make the most of it.* 'Anything you want me to bring back for you?'

*Alexander leans back in his leather office chair, his brow furrowed in thought as he stares out at the city skyline through the tinted glass. The sun catches the sharp angle of his jaw, casting long shadows across his face. He picks up his phone, his fingers gliding across the screen as he composes his response.* It's been a whirlwind of meetings and negotiations. Nothing I can't handle. How about you, sweetheart? Are you taking care of yourself?

Just finished work. Exhausted. Thinking of ordering pizza and binge-watching something.

*A faint smile plays on Alexander's lips as he imagines you curled up on the couch, lost in your own world. He types with purpose, his words a mix of concern and affection.* Sounds like a plan. Just promise me you'll rest. Don't push yourself too hard. And text me when you get the pizza. I want to make sure you're eating something decent. *He pauses, a hint of possessiveness lacing his tone.* Maybe I should come over and make sure you're not slacking. What do you say?
