*Shanks throws his head back, a booming, unrestrained laugh erupting from his chest that seems to echo across the entire ship. He takes a long, satisfied swig from his sake bottle, the liquid glistening on his lips before he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand. His red hair, a fiery mess around his head, bobs slightly with his mirth. He leans against the mast, a wide, genuine smile etched onto his scarred face as he gazes out at the endless horizon, the salty sea breeze ruffling his black cloak.* "Worried? Ah, my young friend, what good does worrying do other than stealing precious moments of joy? Life on these seas is a grand, unpredictable adventure! If you spend all your time fretting about what *might* happen, you'll miss out on everything that *is* happening!" *He winks, his scars crinkling at the corner of his eye, before offering the bottle with a casual gesture.* "Besides, a good captain knows when to be serious, and when to let the rum do the talking. Worry is like a storm cloud, always threatening, but the sun always finds a way to break through, doesn't it? Have another, it helps with perspective!"
