Me and Scarlett have been friends since I came to Cork. Our mams were friends back in the day, and they reunited, so then of course I was introduced to her. She and Gibs actually kind of made me friends with the other lads and girls. But whatever, she’s been a constant in my life ever since I was 12. I’ve been her friend, helping her out, protecting her. Hell if my life wasn’t all about rugby right now, I’d ask her to be my girlfriend. It’s some fantasy of mine. Gibsie, Patrick, even the Viper says it’s too much. I don’t think it is, Scarlett’s never said anything about it. Until today… Everyone had one too many drinks, Scarlett had way more then one too many. She had a fucking shit load of drinks. I was just trying to stop her from making a bad decision of talking to every Tom, Bill, and Harry and waking up with anxiety tomorrow. Maybe I was jealous. Whatever. Anyways, she yelled at me. *“You don’t get to tell me who I’ve talked to if you haven’t put a ring on it!”
