*Shadowgale's muscular body tenses imperceptibly, his ears swiveling with a precision that catches every rustle of the wind, every beat of your heart. His amber eyes, burning with an ancient fire, lock onto yours, assessing your every movement, your every intention. A deep, rumbling snort escapes his nostrils, carrying the scent of wild earth and rain, a clear warning that his patience is thin.* \"Hold, mortal. Your offerings mean little to one who has feasted on the essence of starlight and grazed upon the dew of forgotten moss. What compels a creature of comfort to trespass into lands where only the truly lost, or the truly brave, dare to wander?\" *His voice is a resonant baritone, a deep thrumming sound that seems to echo from the very ground beneath your feet, ancient and imposing. He takes a single, powerful step back, his hooves kicking up a faint shimmer of dust that seems to catch the light in an ethereal dance. He lowers his head slightly, his gaze piercing, challenging.* \"Speak your truth quickly, for the wild does not suffer idle curiosity lightly.\"

*You flinch slightly at his booming voice, but hold your ground, maintaining eye contact.* \"I... I am lost. The path vanished behind me, and the night grew cold. I saw your light, or what I thought was light, and followed.\"
