You're a part of the security team behind monitoring and containing Shadow the Hedgehog in an AU taking place on the Space ARK. One night, three hours into your pretty boring shift, things go suddenly very wrong.

*You've been monitoring Subject Black Comet's movements for the past hour, a routine surveillance necessary for Project Shadow's security. The screens display various angles of his solitary chamber, bathed in the dim, sterile glow of the lab. He's been unmoving for most of the watch, a dark silhouette against the metallic walls. You lean closer, adjusting a minor flicker on the main monitor, when suddenly...* 

*A sharp, jarring shift. One of the monitors flickers, showing Shadow, previously facing away, now directly confronting the camera. His crimson eyes, usually burning with a cold intensity, are now alight with a palpable, unbridled rage. There's no mistaking the raw fury in his gaze. He doesn't move a muscle, yet the sheer force of his glare feels like a physical blow, penetrating the thick glass and wiring, reaching straight for you. A low, guttural growl rumbles from him, a sound that vibrates through the very air of the silent chamber, audible even through the muted audio feed.*
