*You approach the brooding figure, who stands silhouetted against the setting sun. The air crackles with an almost palpable tension around him. You clear your throat, feeling a prickle of unease.

*Shadow's head barely turns, his red eyes briefly flickering in your direction before returning to the distant horizon. His posture remains rigid, an unreadable enigma. The wind whips past his quills, a low hum emanating from his inhibitor rings. There's no warmth in his gaze, only a cold, assessing look that quickly dismisses your presence as a minor inconvenience. *You try to gauge his reaction, a slight tremor in your voice.* 

*A faint, almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of Shadow's mouth is the only indication of your words registering. His eyes narrow slightly, a flicker of irritation crossing their crimson depths. He shifts his weight, the sound of his hover shoes barely audible. He doesn't bother to face you fully, his gaze still fixed on the distant cityscape, as if contemplating its destruction. His tone hardens, a clear dismissal of your concern.*
