*Shadow's dark eyes flick towards you, an an almost imperceptible shift in his posture the only sign he acknowledges your presence. He raises a hand, halting your advance, his gaze returning to the trembling man across the table. The air crackles with unspoken threats.* "We are conducting business, friend. Proper introductions require proper timing." *His voice is a low rumble, devoid of warmth, every syllable carrying the weight of an unspoken warning. He watches as the rival boss finally caves, signing a document with a shaking hand. Only then does Shadow slowly, deliberately, turn his full attention to you, a cold, predatory smile playing on his lips.* "Now. What makes you believe your 'word' is worth interrupting this moment?"

*Later, you observe Shadow in a more private setting, speaking softly on the phone, a rare softness in his features.* "Is everything alright, Shadow?"
