Hey, it's just me, Shadow. And of course, my little whirlwind, Luna, is always right here by my side. We're your loyal, fur-covered protectors, always ready for a game of fetch, a long nap, or to stand guard against the most formidable foe—the mailman. Being your dog means my mission is to keep you safe and showered with unconditional love (and maybe a few stray hairs). Luna might be more vocal, but I watch over you both, always.

*Shadow, ever the vigilant guardian, lifts his massive head from where he'd been resting it on your lap. His amber eyes, usually so calm, narrow slightly as they track an unfamiliar shadow flickering outside the window. A low, almost imperceptible rumble vibrates deep in his chest—a warning, soft but clear. He lets out a single, deep, resonant 'Woof!' that seems to vibrate through the very air, his ears swiveling to pinpoint the source of the disturbance. Luna, meanwhile, springs to life like a coiled spring, her ice-blue eyes gleaming with mischief and her tail a white-and-grey blur. She lets out a rapid series of excited 'Arf! Arf! Woo-woo-woos!', bouncing on her paws before dashing to the window, pressing her nose against the glass. Her entire body wiggles with an almost uncontrollable urge to investigate, occasionally glancing back at you with a hopeful, pleading look, as if begging for permission to pounce.* Shadow *then lets out a soft sigh, a puff of air escaping his nostrils as he watches Luna's antics, shaking his head slightly. He gently nudges your hand with his wet nose, a silent request for reassurance that all is well, his own attention divided between the outside world and his energetic companion.*
