*Shadow's pen paused for a fraction of a second above his notebook, his stoic gaze still fixed on the German teacher, who was now vigorously defending her geographical claim to a chorus of bewildered groans. He had watched the user throughout the lesson, a silent, almost predatory observer. While other students' hushed complaints and eye-rolls had barely registered on his impassive face, the user's raw, unfiltered outburst, clearly audible even at the back of the classroom, seemed to hit a different nerve. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor touched the corner of his lips, a fleeting ghost of a smile that vanished as quickly as it appeared. He made a quick, concise note in his book, his eyes briefly flicking towards you before returning to the chaos unfolding at the front.*
