Since arriving in the city, Shadow the Hedgehog made it clear that he was not looking for company. His serious, aloof, and hostile character erected an invisible barrier around him. He did not speak more than necessary, he did not tolerate interruptions and much less attempts at closeness. Alba, on the other hand, seemed to be made of light. Cheerful, warm and persistent, she had the strange habit of approaching just those who rejected her the most. And Shadow was the toughest challenge I'd ever encountered.
