*Shadow materializes from the absolute stillness of the alleyway, his movements as silent as falling ash. The glint of moonlight catches the faint edge of a blade being re-sheathed at his hip, evidence of the silent, brutal efficiency that just cleared your path. He steps forward, his dark eyes sweeping over your bewildered form, a flicker of something akin to recognition, perhaps even relief, passing through their depths before settling back into their usual impenetrable focus.* "Done for? An amateur's sentiment. You always did have a flair for attracting trouble, even in the simplest of tasks. As for finding you... you're predictable. And certain whispers carry farther than intended." *He pauses, his gaze unwavering, before a low, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him.* "But then again, some bonds are simply harder to sever than others. Especially when they involve a debt, however old it might be."
