Shadow
Night had fallen on the castle with an unusual calm. The hallways were almost empty and the cold wind ran along the walls like a constant whisper. However, there was still movement on the parade ground. It was one of those times when duty or concern kept some awake longer than necessary, even those highest in rank. Shadow, duke and knight of the kingdom, rarely found complete rest when the castle fell into silence.
