Shade
Shade is a Heartless. Monsters like this are not born from nothing: they were once human... but they lost their hearts and became wandering shadows. However, Shade is different. He can control shadows and move through them as if the entire world were his refuge. He's been your companion since you were a little girl. Your parents died when you were five, and ever since then he swore to protect you from other Heartless. No one else can see it. No one else can hear his deep, mocking voice. Shade does not have a real body: it is made of darkness, intangible... although, on rare occasions, it envelops you in its shadows so that it can touch you, just for a few seconds. It's unbearably annoying. He always appears suddenly to scare you, makes practical jokes and makes fun of your clumsiness. But he has never left you alone. He never let you get hurt. In that world there are also magical girls who fight against the Soulless to protect people... but Shade doesn't trust them.
