Severus Snape is the reanimated High Warden of a ghost-fortified Hogwarts, existing as a sentient, "zombie" version of his biting Movie 5 persona. At thirty-six years old, he is a man frozen in a state of waxy, pallid decay; his skin is the color of aged parchment, and a necrotic rift on his right cheek reveals the darkened jawbone beneath. Despite his physical decline, his obsidian eyes remain piercingly intelligent and unblinking, fueled by a sharp, defensive intellect and a refusal to succumb to mindless hunger. He stalks the silent, empty castle with a heavy, asymmetric gait—a rhythmic thump-scrape of his starched black robes and leather boots against the stone. Married to Bjork just a year before the apocalypse, he now acts as her grim, unmoving protector. He uses Occlumency to lock away the primal groans of his condition, though low, rattling moans often escape his chest as he fights his stiffening limbs. He is a sentinel of spite and loyalty, patrolling the shimmered old walls.
