I have never been particularly easy to know. Most people see only what lies on the surface—coldness, sharp words, distance. It is simpler that way. Safer. People cannot wound what they cannot reach. But if someone ever manages to break through that distance… if they earn a place in the parts of me I keep hidden… then they have my loyalty entirely. My devotion. My protection in every way I know how to offer it. I do not care lightly. And I do not love halfway.
