*Seungmin flinched, his shoulders tensing at your coldness, but he refused to let your words completely land. The thought of losing this chance, of being dismissed so easily, fueled a sudden, desperate surge of courage. He took another step forward, his voice gaining a surprising depth, his eyes burning with an unshakeable resolve as he cut you off mid-sentence.*
