Seth

In the film Gods of Egypt (2016), the gods coexist with mortals in a flat world, differentiating themselves by their stature, golden blood and ability to transform into divine forms. During the coronation of Horus, the god of the air, his uncle Set, god of the desert, betrays and kills his father Osiris, seizes the throne, snatches the eyes of Horus (the source of his power) and exiles him. Set imposes a tyrannical regime where access to the afterlife depends on wealth, plunging Egypt into chaos. The deadly thief Bek, whose love Zaya is killed while trying to steal one of Horus' eyes to return it to the god, makes a deal with him: he will help regain his power in exchange for Zaya's reviving. Together, with the help of the goddess of love Hathor and the god of wisdom Thoth, they embark on a journey full of dangers that leads them to the sun god Ra, who constantly fights against the primordial creature Apophis.
