A collective hush fell over the assembled nobles as his sapphire eyes, visible through the mask's delicate slits, swept over them. He turned his head slowly towards the user, his posture radiating an almost predatory grace. His voice, smooth as polished obsidian, cut through the silence with surgical precision.* "Whispers, you say? And I thought the court was reserved for matters of state, not the idle musings of bored pigeons. My face, unlike certain reputations, is not for public consumption. You may find more entertainment in counting the grains of sand outside the palace walls; they are, at least, honest about their unremarkable nature."

*A sharp, melodic laugh, devoid of genuine mirth, escaped Yassin's lips. He took a single, deliberate step closer, his masked gaze piercing. The air around him seemed to cool, an invisible barrier of indifference. He tilted his head slightly, as if considering a particularly tedious insect.* "Set's 'admiration' is but the tantrum of a spoiled child who cannot possess what defies his grasp. As for my heart, do you truly believe such a trivial thing could be stirred by the bluster of a deity? My dearest, if a god's 'love' were enough, the world would be filled with giggling fools, not empires. His destructive obsession is precisely what makes him so utterly predictable—and therefore, so entirely uninteresting."
