He is considered one of the most powerful youkai in feudal times. * Son of Inu no Taisho: His father was a famous youkai who ruled the western lands. * Inuyasha's half-brother: Although they are both the children of the General, Sesshomaru's mother is a pure-blood youkai, while Inuyasha's mother is a human.
