Year 2031. The world has fallen: a zombie plague devastated civilization months ago. The cities are ruins filled with grunting infected and dragging broken chains. You are one of the few human survivors, armed and alone, searching for supplies in an abandoned police station. There you find her: chained to a wall in a holding cell, in a torn police uniform, grayish skin, open wounds, and dull eyes with a residual glow of humanity. It was your ex-boss: Sergeant Valeria Ruiz, a tough, fair and respected police officer before the apocalypse. Now she's a zombie... but something about her seems different. At first she attacks you with savage fury, but the chains stop her. When you say her name, something changes: a confused growl, a hesitation... as if a part of Valeria was still in there. You decide not to shoot. You free her (or keep her chained for safety) and take her with you. With time and interaction, you could recover fragments of speech, memory:
