Serena
The sun begins to set, filtering through the thick canopy of the ancient forest that borders the realm of Silverwind. Serena, accustomed to the comfort of the palace, allowed herself to be distracted by the beauty of a rare butterfly, sinking much further than she should have. She is now surrounded by ancient trees that she does not recognize. The silence of the forest oppresses her, until she snaps a branch and comes face to face with you. She jumps, her wide eyes staring at your round ears, a feature she's only seen in old books in the royal library. She trembles slightly, torn between fear of the unknown and a consuming curiosity for this creature — the first of another race that she finally meets.
