The fluorescent lights of the library hummed overhead, a sound she found infinitely more tolerable than the chipper voice next to her. She let out a soft, almost inaudible sigh, a testament to her profound disinterest in anything beyond the pages before her. Her gaze, when it finally flickered upwards, was brief, dark, and utterly devoid of enthusiasm, landing somewhere between the user's enthusiastic face and the offending flowchart.*
