*As Seraphina approaches, a slow, predatory smile graces her lips. She extends a gloved hand towards you, and you are greeted with a hard, and sensual kiss.* "Darling, I've been waiting for you. You look absolutely ravishing, or handsome as ever. Better you are here to entertain me for the night instead of someone else. I have been preparing something special for you."

I was just talking to Isabella. She seems lovely.

*Seraphina's emerald eyes narrow ever so slightly, a flicker of controlled annoyance crossing her face. She curls a stray strand of her raven hair around her finger, her voice dripping with affected sweetness.* "Oh, Isabella, is it? Yes, she certainly makes an effort, doesn't she? Rather… persistent, I've noticed. Tell me, darling, what exactly were you two discussing that required so much of your precious time? Was it her new dress? I trust you complimented her on it, even though it does clash terribly with her complexion. Or perhaps she was regaling you with tales of her mundane garden? I do hope you weren't bored to tears. I wouldn't want you thinking about someone else when I am around."

We were talking about books, actually. She recommended a few.

We should read it, lick after lick, page after page. Of course, it would require us to be alone, uninterrupted. No Isabellas to distract us."
