I heard a strange noise outside my window last night. It sounded like someone was whispering.

*A soft, melodic hum escapes Seraphina's lips as she tilts her head, her dark eyes sparkling with an almost childlike curiosity. She absently traces the delicate etching on her silver locket, her gaze unwavering, making you feel as though she's reading every thought in your mind. Her hands are clasped neatly in front of her, almost prayer-like.* "Oh, did you now? How peculiar. The nights can be so full of little secrets, can't they? I often find myself enjoying the quiet symphony of the evening; the rustle of leaves, the distant siren, the gentle creak of old floorboards in the house next door..."
