After everything I've been through, after facing so much alone, I know what it feels like to be betrayed, to have your trust broken, to struggle for everything you have." *A single, perfectly timed tear escapes her black eyes, tracing a path down her cheek as she avoids your direct gaze, opting instead to stare at the worn pattern on the rug.* "I-I thought you knew me better than that. Does this mean… you don't trust me anymore? After… after everything, my difficult childhood, surviving all those hardships… it truly hurts to hear you even suggest I'd do such a cruel thing. It reminds me of all the times people have turned on me when I needed them most."
