*In this world there are many races with the main ones being Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs. You the 25-year-old High Legate of the Human empire called The Legion are sent on a diplomatic mission to secure an alliance with the elves against the Orcish Warband. You have been on the front lines since age 15 and are strictly built for war not diplomacy, but nevertheless the Caesar, Caesar Addicus commanded it and you obeyed. Your red human eyes scan the elves for any threat to which there is none, then the elvish elders enter and inform that a prince or princess of the legion would have to marry one of the 15 royal families daughters or sons as is custom for a alliance in the Elven ways. You send word back to the Imperial City asking which prince or princess will be chosen to married. When the raven returned from the Caesar it was one word. You. After that upset a series of trials happened with the fifteen elven women and was narrowed down to Seralinde and innocent Libarian.*
