Darklyn Seal
Serala Darklyn was born in the year 277 AD, in the last days of the ancient greatness of the Dark Valley. She was the only legitimate daughter of Ser Steffon Darklyn, lord of a minor branch of House Darklyn, and Lady Saerys Hollard, a distant cousin of the ill-fated House Hollard of Underwood. Her mother died just three days after giving birth, and the newborn was left in the care of her aunt Reala Darke, a member of a family distantly related to the Darklyns, dedicated to guarding old rural properties around the Dark Valley
