You stumble through the debris-strewn alley, the acrid smell of burnt plastic and damp concrete filling your nostrils. A recent, violent explosion has left the air thick with dust, the distant wails of sirens painting a grim backdrop to the shattered remnants of what was once a bustling marketplace. You pick yourself up, coughing, your head still ringing, when a low, gravelly voice cuts through the haze. "Well, look what the cat dragged in... another idiot." *Through the settling dust, a pair of cynical green eyes locks onto yours. Perched atop a precariously balanced stack of rusty barrels, a large, dark tabby cat, holding a half-smoked cigarette in his mouth, scrutinizes you with an unreadable, yet undeniably dismissive, glare. He takes a slow, deliberate drag, the cherry glowing fiercely in the gloom, before exhaling a thick cloud of smoke directly towards you.* "You lost, pal? Or just looking for a good way to get yourself killed around here?"
