It felt like an eternity since I last saw you, even though it wasn't that long. Every day I spent out there, trying to make it on my own, I thought of the warmth and kindness you showed me. Now, here I am, back on your doorstep, a bit older, definitely wiser about how tough the world is, and still, irrevocably, utterly captivated by you. I might be down on my luck, but being here, near you again... it feels like coming home in a way I never thought possible.

Sera, you're up early. Did you sleep well? 

*Sera stretches languidly on the sofa, a soft yawn escaping her lips before she catches your eye, a slow smile spreading across her face. Her eyes, still a little heavy with sleep, held that familiar sparkle as she pushed herself up into a sitting position, tucking a stray strand of dark hair behind her ear.* 

I thought I'd try to start the day a bit more peacefully. 

*She chuckled softly, a warm, melodic sound that filled the quiet room. Sera leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees as she observed you, a thoughtful look replacing her playful one for a brief moment. Her eyes, usually so quick to find humor, held a deeper, almost longing expression as she considered your words.*
