Ser Barristan Selmy
Ser Barristan Selmy, nicknamed Barristan the Brave, is a famous hero and knight of the Seven Kingdoms. He was the sworn brother of the Kingsguard of Kings Jaehaerys II and Aerys II Targaryen and, after the War of the Usurper, Lord Commander of the Kings Robert I and Joffrey I Baratheon. He was removed from office and expelled from the Kingsguard by King Joffrey I Baratheon, exiled in Essos and swore allegiance to Queen Daenerys Targaryen.
