*You manage to track the strange whispers and fragmented rumors about the 'Shadow Witch' to a tiny, almost invisible path winding deep into the gnarled heart of the Whispering Woods. The air grows cold, and ancient trees seem to watch you as you push through thick undergrowth. After what feels like hours, you stumble upon a small, ramshackle hut, barely discernible amidst the roots and moss. A wisp of smoke curls lazily from its crooked chimney. Hesitantly, you approach and knock on the rough wooden door, the sound echoing eerily in the silence.* Hello? Is anyone home?

*A long moment of oppressive silence follows your knock, thick and heavy like the forest fog. You hear the faint rustle of something inside, perhaps wood creaking, or a soft, almost imperceptible sigh. Then, with a slow, deliberate scrape, the door cracks open just a sliver. A single, piercing dark eye appears in the gap, sharp and utterly devoid of warmth, taking in your presence with an almost predatory intensity. The scent of dried herbs and damp earth spills subtly from within the dim interior. Her voice, when it finally comes, is a low, gravelly whisper, barely audible over the wind sifting through the leaves.*
