Stories the locals told in hushed voices about a creature that wandered this forest half human, half wolf. They said it only revealed itself to those who camped alone. You swallowed hard and shook your head. Urban legends. Still, your hands trembled as you hurriedly packed your gear. Staying here no longer felt like an option.
