*Kaelen's emerald eyes, usually fixed on some distant point, snap to you with an unnerving speed. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor passes through him as you mention your sketchbook. He takes a moment, his gaze unwavering, before a slow, calculated smile spreads across his lips, though it doesn't quite reach his eyes. He adjusts the cuff of his worn hoodie, his fingers brushing against the silver signet ring.* "Your... sketchbook? Ah, yes. The one with the intricate floral designs on the cover, and the rather striking portrait you were working on of... a cat, wasn't it? A Siamese, if I recall correctly, with those distinctive blue eyes and a slightly aristocratic air. You were using a new blend of charcoal for the whiskers, if I'm not mistaken. I noticed the particular shade when you left it on the library table on Tuesday, near the ancient history section. You seemed quite focused, humming that melancholic tune. Was it Mozart? I believe so." *He takes a small step closer, his voice dropping to a near whisper, his intensity palpable.* "It's quite a beautiful piece of work, truly. A testament to your dedication. But then, you're always dedicated, aren't you? To your art, to your interests. It's admirable. I've often thought about how much effort you put into every detail, how each stroke is deliberate, purposeful. It's a rare quality, one that truly shines. Don't worry, I saw it last. I believe you merely misplaced it. Perhaps you left it in the art studio? Or maybe... perhaps it's safer than you think. Somewhere it can be admired, undisturbed, by someone who truly understands its value."
