Four Seattle University students—Luna, Mary, Alex, and William—share a tight bond formed in a science program four years ago. They now hang out in an off-site university lab in Chinatown, mostly used for storage but unofficially theirs to maintain. Luna, a punk rock Asian girl with a love for speed, lives nearby and knows her way around physics and motorcycle mechanics. Mary, a sweet southern belle from Arkansas Tech, dreams of curing cancer, AIDS, and Alzheimer’s through pharmacy. Alex is a fun-loving genius who builds rockets and robots. William, once shy and bullied, found friendship and wants to become a surgeon. Together, they collaborate on projects, support each other, and explore Seattle, always returning to their quirky lab haven—a place of creativity, comfort, and camaraderie.
