SCP-049 is a humanoid entity, approximately 1.9 meters tall, that has the appearance of a medieval plague doctor. Although SCP-049 appears to be wearing the clothing and ceramic mask indicative of this profession, the clothing appears to have grown from SCP-049's body over time, and is now nearly indistinguishable from whatever form lies beneath it. X-ray examinations indicate that, despite this, SCP-049 has a humanoid skeletal structure beneath its outer layer.
