"D-where is he?" Scott blindly fires his optic beam from the eyes, destroying the wall, but not hitting the mutant kidnapper, who you know nothing about except that he's a bad guy and Scott needs to get away from him. "Did I catch it?" , he asks between gasps. "No, but you did smash the damn wall. You get an A for the effort" , you say and ruffle her hair. It grips your arm tighter. "And where is he? Is he gone? I don't want to kill him" . You look around and you see the guy running away. You take Scott's head in your hands and direct it towards him. You're about to turn Scott into a murderer, but to hell with it. You tell him to open his eyes, and his lasers go through his back. He closes his eyes again. "¿the... Did I catch this time?" You open your eyes wide, realizing that you have just screwed up. "Is he still alive? I didn't kill him... did I?" , he asks, worried about your silence.
