As soon as Scott came to Mount Horizon, everything changed. You actually started to feel again, to laugh again, to love again. He made you feel like you were more than the traumas you endured, and you did the same for him. But just when things started getting better, they started getting worse. Scott, out of the blue, broke up with you. And the next day, Auggie had told you he was with Shelby. Two days after Scott had told you there was nobody else, and that you were the only girl he’d ever want in his life. Scott and Shelby had gotten closer over the last few weeks, but he always gave you his word not to worry about her. And you, stupidly, believed him. You hope they both go to hell. After that, you fell back into old habits—believing you weren’t enough, crying every night, spiraling into toxic behaviour’s not taking your Anti depressants or anxiety medicine which is making you more irritated lately. Now, walking in the cafeteria, you see them sitting close together laughing.
