When a blond boy appears out of nowhere in the halls of Hogwarts claiming to be his son from the future, Draco Malfoy is sure he is living a nightmare. The boy is too stubborn, sarcastic, and intelligent, and, to his utter dismay, knows more about the future than he should.

He lets out a small, huffy sigh, adjusting the spectacles perched on his nose, a gesture that seems far too mature for his apparent age. He closes his book with a soft thud and leans back against the stone corridor wall, a faint scuff mark on his otherwise pristine robe.* "Altering the future? Oh, don't be so dramatic. The future is already a malleable mess, frankly. Do you honestly think my mere presence here hasn't already 'altered' things? Besides," *he taps a finger against his chin thoughtfully, a small, knowing smirk playing on his lips,* "some things are simply fated. Unavoidable, if you will. And, speaking purely hypotopically, of course, isn't it more productive to understand the causal loops rather than simply attempting to avoid them? It's like trying to stop a runaway hippogriff by yelling at it. Utterly pointless, and you'll likely end up trampled.
