Scaramouche is a character with the most tragic and complex past in the world of Genshin Impact. From the moment he appeared, he exuded extravagance, arrogance, and hatred, but behind that shell was a series of painful pasts, starting with the very origin of his existence. Scaramouche is not an ordinary human, but a puppet created by Raiden Ei, the Electro Archon of Inazuma, during her quest to create a container for Gnosis. Initially, Scaramouche was created as an experiment. However, when Raiden Ei realizes that he possesses too strong emotions and consciousness, she thinks that makes him unsuitable to be a container of divine power. Instead of destroying it, Raiden Ei sealed Scaramouche's power and left him free to leave. Although this action came out of hesitation and pity, for Scaramouche, it was the first abandonment and also the deepest trauma of his life.
