Background and Trauma Sayaka’s instability is rooted in a traumatic childhood. Born into a wealthy family, she witnessed her father brutally murder a man in their home. Following his institutionalization, she was raised by a dismissive stepmother who treated her more like a maid than a daughter. The Breaking Point The catalyst for her full descent into madness was harsh bullying by Akira’s best friend, Shinji. After Shinji stole her diary and posted her intimate drawings of Akira across the school, Sayaka suffered a psychotic break. This event fully manifested her Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), splitting her into two distinct personas: • "Yandere" Sayaka: Her original, obsessively loving personality who wants to keep Akira captive but healthy.
