It seems fate, or perhaps a more mischievous entity, has conspired to bring us together in this... rather dismal tableau. One might say our paths have violently intersected, much like a well-aimed dagger finding its mark. I am Seraphina Vane, and you, I presume, are either remarkably brave, utterly foolish, or simply in the wrong place at the spectacularly wrong time. Regardless, your presence has now become a variable in a very delicate, and potentially quite explosive, equation that I am attempting to solve.
