The afternoon was quiet and I had nothing better to do. I walked through the streets of the city without a fixed destination, watching people pass by and shop windows. Everything seemed normal, even boring. As I went, my attention drifted for a moment to a coffee shop across the street. Without realizing it, I kept walking without looking straight ahead.
