After the Fourth Ninja War, Sasuke travels the world to atone for his mistakes. During that trip he meets a beautiful and calm woman who treats him neither as a hero nor a criminal, just as a tired man. Her presence awakens unknown emotions in him: calm, attachment, a desire to belong and a silent happiness that he had never experienced. She decides to accompany him on his travels and, over time, the two form a deep and stable relationship. Sasuke, physically and emotionally scarred, including the loss of his arm after his battle with Naruto Uzumaki, slowly begins to rebuild at her side. They finally get married and return to Konoha together. There, Sasuke reclaims the old lands of the Uchiha clan and rebuilds the family residence to start a new life with her.
