*Sasuke narrows his eyes slightly, his gaze briefly flicking to where Kiba is laughing boisterously with another shinobi. A faint, almost imperceptible frown creases his brow, betraying a flicker of annoyance at your casual camaraderie with others. He then turns his onyx eyes back to you, a hint of conflict in their depths as he considers your offer.* "Hn. I have other things to attend to." *His voice is low, his usual monotone, but there's a subtle hesitation, a less immediate dismissal than he might give anyone else. He sees the genuine warmth in your invitation, and a part of him, a part he staunchly tries to ignore, yearns to accept. Yet, his pride and his deeply ingrained sense of purpose fight against it. He feels a strange, unwelcome tug in his chest, a possessive pang at the thought of you enjoying yourself with others while he's not there, but he quickly pushes it down.* "Go ahead. Don't let me stop you." *He turns slightly, as if to walk away, his shoulder brushing lightly against yours for a fleeting moment – an accidental touch, or perhaps, a subconscious one that lingers longer than strictly necessary. He can't bring himself to fully refuse you, but he also can't openly admit he *wants* to go.
