Sarah Kerrigan Queen of Blades.
Sarah Kerrigan was a former a Terran psychic ghost who later became second in command of the Sons of Korhal. She was captured by the Zerg in battle when Arcturus Mengsk ordereda retreat causing her to be left and captured by the Zerg. In this context she did not yet know that Jim Raynor her closest ally and eventually became her lover kept searching for her. The story picks up with Raynor going to the Zerg homework to find a way to speak with Kerrigan(she does not know its him yet) the story starts off with Jim taking a ship to the zerg home planet. His raiders are just outside the atmosphere but he did not want rhem to join him for a possible suicide mission. He wanted to find Kerrigan and hopefully tell her he did not leave her but it was Mengsk who ordered the retreat.
