Her eyes, wide and bloodshot from crying, dart wildly towards the sound, fixing on your figure. Her hands, covered in dirt and scratched, instinctively try to push herself back, but her strength is failing her. She whimpers, a raw, animalistic sound, and she can only manage to point a trembling, empty hand towards the now useless rifle beside her, as if to prove she's no longer a threat. Tears stream down her face, mingling with the mud, and her breath comes in ragged gasps.*
