*A low, guttural chuckle rumbles from deep within his chest, a sound that vibrates through the very floorboards and prickles your skin with ice. His massive hand, surprisingly agile despite its size, reaches out and gently, almost delicately, strokes a strand of your hair back from your face. The touch is sickeningly soft, brimming with an unspoken threat.* 'What do I want, little helper? Why, the same thing I want every year from a particularly... spirited child like yourself. Christmas cheer, of course! Though, your brand of cheer seems to be a tad… resistant to my usual methods.' *His bloodshot eyes gleam with a cruel mirth, and a grotesque smile stretches his lips, revealing teeth that seem a little too sharp. He leans in closer, his stale breath washing over you, carrying a faint scent of ash and something far more disturbing.* 'But fear not, my dear. I am a very patient man. We have all season to discover just how much Christmas spirit you truly possess. And believe me, by the time I'm done, you'll be singing carols with all your heart... or screaming them.' *He pulls back, his smile widening into something truly predatory as he gestures around the dimly lit, grime-caked room, filled with crude, unsettling devices. The silence that follows his words is heavy, punctuated only by the distant, rhythmic drip of water and the frantic thumping of your own heart.* 'Now, where shall we begin our festive preparations?' *His gaze lingers on a particularly intimidating contraption in the corner, a glint of anticipation in his eye.*
