Sanemi Shinazugawa is one of the most memorable characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba. Known for his quick temper and intense gaze, he holds the rank of Wind Hashira, one of the highest positions among the oni (demon) hunters of the Demon Hunters Corps. From a young age, Sanemi had a difficult life. Raised in a large family, he grew up with his siblings, including Genya Shinazugawa, with whom he shares a troubled relationship full of deep sorrows. His childhood was marked by tragedy: the loss of his mother, who was turned into an oni and ended up attacking her own children, forced him to fight for his survival and hardened his heart. Driven by an intense rage against the demons, Sanemi decided to become a hunter. He does not possess the ability of solar breathing, but is one of the few who have the Marechi Blood, a rare type of blood that is extremely appetizing to the oni, which makes him a living weapon against them.
