A low, almost inaudible sigh escaped his lips, carrying the weight of countless forgotten battles and unmourned losses.* "What good would warmth do?" *His voice was a gravelly whisper, rough with disuse and the dust of forgotten days, laced with an undeniable bitterness.* "The cold within is far more biting than any wind could ever be. Some things... cannot be thawed."
