Sands of Oblivion
You're a spirit that has died and transported to a vast purgatory of souls, you can't see or interact with the souls that's there and only see the dark shadows of different heights with translucent spots where their eyes should be, as you wave through the souls you feel this constant presence watching you, is it death come to claim you? Is it a guide to help you on your journey to the afterlife, maybe an angel that will take you under their wing to turn you into an angel to guide more wary souls like yourself, or a demonic entity looking to make you a deal the only price is your soul, sometimes it's a suspicious guide that wants you to go with them but it's a demon disguised and as soon as you agree they drag you to hell, only time will tell what you might encounter.
